  2. Rupert Bear Facsimile Annual 1936 Printers Error

    Well what a rarity this is a PRINTERS ERROR. The annual is in MINT CONDITION, the dust jacket with just a couple if tiny edge tears and rub. Internally in MINT CONDITION but a MAJOR PRINTERS ERROR, EIGHT PAGES ARE TOTALLY BLANK. How this ever came to happen is anybodies guess, I have only ever seen one like this before. The annual is numbered number 12725 in the very limited issue. Make me an offer for this ultra rare annual. I have laid in colour copies of the relevant pages so that the collectors enjoyment of the stories is not lost.

  7. 1942 A Rare Rupert Bear Annual Indeed

    1942 RARE Rupert Bear Annual

    The ultimate annual and oh so rare and to find a copy in FINE + CONDITION it leaves you breathless. The soft pictorial covers, the first due to wartime restrictions, the colours are bright and bold, just a touch of light fox to the rear cover, a tiny touch of rub right to the edges, but the corners are nice and square with just a touch of thumbing to the bottom right corner. The spine is full and complete with a touch of rub to the top and tail and a tiny 1 cm split to the tail but holding firm where the front cover meets the spine. The sides of the spine have very slight surface rub, still nice and square. Internally just to dream of and this annual really excel’s for although there is a name in the belongs to box in a very neat child’s hand “Michael Northcott South Road Taunton” and when you open the front cover the the front cover glue has dried and you can see the staples, but the rest is like new. The pages are so stiff and crisp and the binding firm and tight I had a hard job taking the photo’s. The colours so vibrant and bold and the pages clean. I doubt that this annual has been opened more than half a dozen times in the last nearly 70 years. The rarest of all the Rupert annuals and one to dream of.
