    Rupert Bear Annual 1999

    This annual is in MINT CONDITION from cover to cover. It’s hard to believe but the owner of this annual couldn’t ever had read it or even flicked through it the pages and binding are so tight. Just wonderful.

    Rupert Bear Annual 1998

    This annual in MINT CONDITION literally as good as the day that it was purchased. Never been read, never been touched, pristine throughout from cover to cover.

    Rupert Bear Annual 1997

    What an annual in MINT- CONDITION due only to a very small indent on the back cover like a paw print?. Other than that this annual is in beautiful as new condition, I can’t believe that this annual has ever been read or even opened the pages and binding are so stiff. This is one for all collectors.

    Rupert Bear Annual 1996

    Although graded as MINT- CONDITION  this is due only to what appears to be a slight imperfection to the top edge of the rear cover with what appears to be a double thickness of board cover about 3cm long just on the edge, other than that this annual is as good as the day that it was printed, not an imperfection from cover to cover, and the pages are so stiff I doubt that this annual has ever been read or for that matter opened. A gem of an annual.

    This annual is so good, it’s in MINT CONDITION literally as you would have purchased it from the book shop. Pristine from cover to cover. One for any and all collectors.

    Rupert Bear Annual 1994

    This annual in MINT- CONDITION due only to a production fault that has crinkled the bottom right-hand corner of page 83, otherwise this annual is in faultless condition from cover to cover, in fact I would wager that this annual has never been opened and read until I checked it. A cracking annual for any collection.

    An absolutely cracking annual in MINT- CONDITION due to just one fault, a slight bump to the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover, apart from that this annual is in pristine condition from cover to cover. Not a blemish to be found, the pages and binding so stiff I doubt that it has ever been read.

    Rupert Bear Annual 1992

    A truly stunning annual in MINT CONDITION, not a blemish to be found from the front cover to the rear cover and every page in between, in fact the pages and binding are so stiff I would say that this annual has never been read or even opened apart from when I have checked it. Really stunning.

    Rupert Bear Annual 1991

    What a gem, in MINT- CONDITION due only to one fault and that being two finger nail marks right on the bottom right-hand corner of the front cover, otherwise this annual is in pristine condition, not a blemish to be found from cover to cover. The pages and binding so stiff I would say that this annual was purchased from the bookshop, taken home and put away never to see the light of day for another 10 years. A real beauty.

    This is a real joy and in MINT CONDITION  not only the annual but also the full size dust jacket that is also a huge poster also in MINT CONDITION, and every page pure and clean pristine from cover to cover. Not a blemish to be found on any one of the 100 so stiff pages. I can’t believe that this annual has ever been read or even flicked through other than the checking that I have done. A truly remarkable annual and poster.

    Rupert Bear Annual 2009 SOLD

    What an annual this is, in MINT – CONDITION due only to the very lightest of abrasions to the cover only visible in a certain light. This annual I should think has never been opened let alone read. No inscription, not price clipped just as pure as the day that it was printed. One for any collector.

    Rupert Bear Annual 2008 SOLD

    As beautiful as the day that it was printed, in MINT CONDITION what more could anybody want. This annual is as clean and pristine as the day that it was printed and I recommend it to any collector.

    A fabulous annual in MINT- CONDITION due only to some very faint surface marks barely visible only in a certain light. This annual is has not I doubt ever been opened only for me to check it through, absolutely pristine and not a mark to be found anywhere. One for all collectors

  5. Rupert Annuals from 1943, 1949, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1968

    1943 Rupert Bear Annual

    This so very scarce annual in GOOD CONDITION. The paper covers so clean and bold with colour, the corners so nice and square, the spine full and complete but with a split approx. 7cm long and the rear cover just coming loose from the spine, see all photo’s. Internally the is an inscription in the belongs to box in a very neat and adult hand “David Jackson love from Nanna”, not price clipped, as can be seen from the photo’s the colouring competitions on pages 2 and 119 have been started very neatly, but you will find every page so clean and vibrant with colour, and so stiff to the touch. It is amazing that this quality of children’s annual was produced in one of the darkest years of this countries history some 68 years ago. Still one for all collectors.

    1949 Rupert Bear Annual

    This hard to find annual is in GOOD + CONDITION. The coloured paper cover have edge wear all round, the spine is full and complete with some wear to the top and tail and there is some split to the tail of approx. 2 cm. Inside there is an inscription in a very neat adult hand in the belongs to box “Jacqueline from Jimmy”, it has been price clipped but after this all the pages are so stiff and the binding so tight I don’t think that this annual was hardly opened let alone read, it’s just suffered a bit from being moved from storage place to storage place for the last 62 years. The odd age stain inside the back cover but still an adorable annual so very hard to find.

    1963 Rupert Bear Annual

    A lovely very hard to find annual in VERY GOOD + CONDITION the laminated board covers are clean and bold, the corners just a touch of bump and one small chip, the spine full and complete and well defined with just a hint of bump to the top and tail. Inside there is a name in a child’s neat hand “Peter Lawton”, not price clipped. All of the competitions and puzzles including Rupert’s Camera are untouched and intact, of the Magic Paintings three have been done to a very high standard and FIVE ARE UNTOUCHED APART FROM THE ODD FINGER DAB. Please see photo’s. All in all a very attractive annual to have in your collection.

    1963 Rupert Bear Annual

    A great annual so very hard to find in FINE CONDITION .The laminated board covers so clean and bold with colour, the corners square with just a pin prick of wear or bump, the spine full and complete, well defined with just a touch of bump and wear to the top and tail. Inside there is an inscription in the belongs to box in a very neat adult hand “George from Grandma”, not price clipped, and every page is just as it was when purchased totally untouched. Of the MAGIC PAINTINGS ALL ARE UNTOUCHED APART FROM THE ODD FINGER DAB, see all of the photo’s. This is a hard to find annual and would grace any collection with pride.

    1964 Rupert Bear Annual

    A great annual and very hard to find. In VERY GOOD CONDITION. The laminated board covers are clean and bold with colour, the corners still square but with a little bump and wear as is the well defined spine with a little bump and wear to the top and tail. Inside there is an inscription in an adults neat hand in the belongs to box “Deborah Parke Christmas 1964 from Mrs Mundie”, not price clipped, see all of the photo’s for MAGIC PAINTINGS. The condition of all of the pages is amazing, so clean and bright and crisp and stiff to the touch. A lovely lovely annual.

    1966 Rupert Bear Annual

    This very rare and hard to find annual is graded as in FINE CONDITION due only to a couple of faults to the covers. The laminated board covers have some bump and wear to the corners and to the top and tail of the spine, the covers are themselves nice and clean and bold with colour. But when you open this annual up you will find that it is in MINT YES MINT CONDITION. There is no name in the belongs to box, not price clipped and every single page is untouched, even the MAGIC PAINTINGS ARE TOTALLY UNTOUCHED. I would hazard a guess that this annual has been moved from cupboard to shelf to cupboard again and that is where the wear has occurred, but the inside has not seen the light of day in 45 years. A truly rare annual for any collector.

    1968 Rupert Bear Annual

    This so hard to find annual in GOOD CONDITION due to bump and wear to the corners and to the top and tail of the spine and some very faint surface marks to the covers. Inside a name has been Tippexed out in the belongs to box and Tippex on the opposite page and on page 114 and price clipped. On the inside of the rear cover there is some red Biro marks , see photo’s, some edge staining, but the lo and behold you find that none of the competitions have been touched AND THE MAGIC PAINTINGS ARE UNTOUCHED, AMAZING.  This annual has it’s faults but to find that the Magic Paintings are untouched seems to make it all worth while.

    What an annual, it is in MINT – CONDITION due only to some rippling of the laminate to the front cover which I am sure happened during the production process, for the rest it is in MINT CONDITION, not a blemish or mark to be found to any one of the ultra stiff and crisp pages.     This annual is amazing although graded as MINT – CONDITION this is due only to 1cm of fading to the bottom edge of the front cover and the faintest hint of a bump to the bottom corner of the front cover, otherwise this annual is in MINT CONDITION from cover to cover not a blemish to any one of the amazingly crisp and stiff pages totally untouched. I am sure that this annual was purchased from the book shop, taken home and left on a shelf and is not only unread but I would think unopened. One for any collector.

    This annual is graded as being in MINT – CONDITION due only to some very light staining to the inside of the front cover in the binding, see photo, and a tiny bit of loss of the ffp stick down, again see photo, other than that this annual is just as it was when purchased from the book shop some 38 years ago. I would think taken home and put away having never been read or I would think opened, you only have to feel the stiff crisp unblemished pages and the creak of the binding when opened. This is one for all collectors.

    1936 The New Adventures of Rupert

    Amazing! What a find in FINE condition A 1936 ORIGINAL ANNUAL AND COMPLETE WITH THE DUST JACKET WOW. Boards are so bright and clean and brilliant red with Rupert reading a book in dense black, the merest hint of bump to the top and tail of the spine, just lovely. Inside there is the indentation of indecipherable writing in the belongs to box just a name slight very foxing spots to this page and the last page, all the rest of the pages bright and clean, the colouring competition on page very carefully done in part, the binding is sound. Again just beautiful. The dust jacket is housed in an acid free protective cover, a few(4) very small archival tape repairs to the reverse, small chips and tears. There are three small areas of loss to the front panel. Please study all of the photographs. This is the Holy Grail of Rupert annuals and I don’t anticipate seeing another one for several years, it has been more than ten years since I saw the last one, and that was not in such good a condition as this fine copy. Any collector or collection would love this one. As a bonus this also comes with 12 newspaper cuttings of the Rupert daily cartoon from the Daily Express of 1936, again WOW!

    1971 Stock No. RBA 416 £20.00

    A cracking annual in FINE condition due only to some split damage to the top of the spine, the tail has only very minor bumping, the corners are nice and square, maybe a pin prick of wear to the top right, the covers are clean and bright. Inside is a joy, not inscribed, not price clipped, and every page so stiff and firm, gleaming white and not a puzzle is touched, this is just fabulous and a must for any collector.

    1971 Stock No. RBA 417 £28.00

    A gem of an annual in FINE + condition due only to some bumping to the corners and to the top and tail of the spine which is also full, square and well defined, the covers are clean and bright. Inside there is no inscription and it is not price clipped, just two small stains as can be seen in the photo’s. The pages are so stiff and firm to the touch, sound to the binding and gleaming white and bursting with colour. None of the puzzles or competitions have been touched. This is a real joy to have in any collection.

    What a cracker, this annual is in MINT – condition due only to the following, the top right hand corners have just a hint of bump, there is a name in a neat very young child’s hand in the belongs to box “Adam Waddington 40 Lehnon Close” and the price has been blanked out in blue biro, other than that an absolute gem of an annual. The covers and spine just perfect, the pages gleaming white with not a puzzle or competition touched, and every page so stiff and firm to the touch. As an added feature the annual comes complete with the  Christmas present tag laid inside. This is one annual for all collectors.

    This great annual in MINT – condition due only to two features, a heavy bump to the top right hand corner and a very neat name in the belongs to box “Geoffrey Eden Milburn Sunderland 1973”, for all the rest just perfect from the beautiful bright and clean covers, the square and well defined spine, the gleaming white pages so stiff and firm to the touch. Not a puzzle or competition touched. A real joy to look at and to own.

    This annual in MINT – condition, it would have been just as you would have purchased it from the book shop some 34 years ago except for the very slightest of surface abrasions to the rear cover, for the rest from the bright and clean covers to the so very stiff and firm to the touch gleaming white pages. No puzzles or competitions touched, I doubt that this annual has been opened more than four or five times in the last 34 years. One for all collectors.

    1965 Stock No. RBA  431         £105.00

    A great copy of this difficult to find annual in FINE+ condition. The lovely glossy board covers so bright and bursting with colour, a facsimile of this annual was released last year. The corners still square and well formed although the top and bottom corners of the rear cover have a little wear, there is also some bumping and a little wear to the top and tail of the still well defined spine. Internally a name has been erased from the belongs to box, it has not been price clipped, and every one of the pages are so bright, full of colour and the back ground gleaming white. None of the puzzles or competitions have been touched. Of the MAGIC PAINTINGS ONLY ONE HAS BEEN EXPERTLY COMPLETED THE REAMINING SEVEN ARE UNTOUCHED. This annual is a real little treasure to have in any collection.
