We’ve maintained our high level of descriptions & lots of photos of each annual just like our Rupert Bear Annuals site & stick to our strict grading rules. Annuals are graded as MINT only if they are like new as if straight from the bookshop. Any defects (bumping, rubbing, foxing etc.) are always mentioned in the description along with a photo showing the extent of the defect.

1951 Rupert Bear Annual for sale

This so very hard to find annual and in FINE CONDITION. The pictorial paper covered hard board covers bright, with a hint of fox. The edges with virtually no wear, a couple of dinks to the bottem edge, the corners with some bump and just a hint of surface wear, the spine full and complete just a hint of bump to the top and some more bump to the tail. Internally there is a name in the belongs to box in a neat child’s hand “Ruth Hillman Ston Easton Nr Bath”, not price clipped, although the page edges are a tiny little bit dulled the pages inside are bright and clean and the colours bold and vibrant. All of the pages are sound to the firm binding, not a single competition or puzzle has been touched. This is a very hard to find annual and would complement any collection.

This rare and hard to find annual in MINT – CONDITION STUNNING IS WHAT YOU WOULD CALL IT. The pictorial paper covered boards so clean and bright with super bold colours, you would think it was new,
The corners nearly square with a touch of bump and pin prick of wear to the bottom right, and a hint of bump to the top. The spine full and complete, very square with a touch of bump and lift to the top and a touch of bump to the tail. When you open the annual WOW! It is virtually new, MINT CONDITION, the belongs to box clean, not price clipped and every single page gleaming white, even the edges, super bold and vibrant colours, stiff to the touch pages and firm sound and tight binding, and nothing touched. Stunningly clean and gleaming white pages, even the edges, none of the puzzles or competitions have been touched, the pages firm to the touch and sound to the tight binding. The illustrated paper covered hard covers spotlessly clean with really bold colours, the corners really square at the top with a touch of bump and wear to the bottom. The spine full and complete, square and well defined with a touch of bump to the tail and to the top, with also some lift of about 1cm. Internally this annual is in virtually MINT CONDITION, with the belongs to box clean and not price clipped. None of the competitions and puzzles have been touched and every single page gleaming white with fantastic vibrant colours, the pages are so stiff to the touch and firm to the really tight binding. The first of the illustrated paper covered hard covers , the covers so bright and clean with really bold colours, the corners nice and square with just a little surface rub. The spine full and complete with just a little bump, wear and lift to the top and tail, see photo’s. Inside there is an inscritption in the belongs to box in a child’s neat hand “Ann Mockett 297 St. Richards Rd. Deal.”, not price clipped. The rest of the annual is in virtually MINT CONDITION with no puzzle or competitions touched, the pages are gleaming white, even the edges, and the colours bold and vibrant. The pages are very stiff to the touch and the binding sound and tight. A very rare and hard to find annual and a would be star in any collection…….. More pictures & details

The stunning laminated pictorial hard covers just bursting with vibrant colour, the corners so nearly square just a touch of bump to the top corners front and rear, the bottom corners just a breath of bump. Wow, this very hard to find annual in FINE CONDITION. The laminated pictorial hard covers so clean and bright and the corners with only very minor bump and touch of wear, the spine well defined with a touch of bump and wear to the top and tail, a small area about 3mm by 5mm of loss of outer pictorial paper to the top of the spine……… more deatils & pictures
